EMA, Tuition Fees and b******s

I don't come from a poorer background. But my parents financial situation dictated that I couldn't get EMA, but they also couldn't afford to give me the equivalent of EMA. Which meant I had to go to a lesser college and work a day a week to get my £30 a week.

There isn't anything wrong in that. It's just, I just about got along because I went to a poorer college. If I struggled, I'd hate to think what people who really did need EMA will do.

Once more the young generation are the ones suffering at the hands of this government, from scrapping sure start, scrapping EMA and trebling tuition fees. What chance do the children from the poor inner cities in this country have of making a living for themselves.

The fact is they don't. The quality of the schools are poor because they are crumbling, the quality of the teaching is poor because the pensions aren't attractive. Even if you come out of State Comp and Primary School with half a brain. If you can't afford to go to college you're pretty much buggered. If you by some miracle can beat that, you'll be burdened with debt at University for pretty much your whole entire life

Fundamental Rights of children, richer or poorer are being denied. We live in a class society, it's not what you know, it's who you know. Equality, there is no such thing. The status quo is being retained and our deputy prime minister was elected on lies and deceit. I don't know why people aren't angry as this as I am. Maybe they are reaping the benefits of Thatcherite Britain, I don't know. All I know is it will take a generation to make significant change in this country. It sure as hell won't be the next generation. Because they'll be too busy paying off debt, to address the key problems in this country's education system.

Anyway, Remember ladies and gentlemen. We're all in this together, now hands in for the Royal f***ing Wedding.
