as the greatest pantomime villain these shores have seen in a long time.

"Gaddafi is a man I have always admired. I am telling the truth.

"I know him, and I know his son Saif well. They are my friends.

"I do not honestly know what is really happening in Libya at the moment but it must be very hard for Gaddafi and his family."

Happy Easter to you too muley.

I don't think he is behind you, btw. Not that it would make him a bad person if he was.

It's good to hear, plenty don't feel the same way tho eh?

Has Eric died?

Doesnt hate him so much now?

Now that he's f***ed off to Scotland I've taken the approach of convincing myself he doesn't exist and, in fact, has never existed. When this slim and shaky facade breaks down however I am forced to remember his existence and declare him as a rancid fetid c***.

He has seemingly abandoned the 8 ball too.

He's changed man.

Blackburn Rovers are trying to locate El-Hadji Diouf after the Senegalese player failed to turn up for pre-season training.

The Premier League side have flown off for a pre-season tour of Austria but there was no sign of the controversial Diouf on the plane.

Diouf spent the second half of last season on loan at Rangers but the Scottish giants declined to try and make the move permanent.

"We can’t find him. Nobody knows where he is," a club source is quoted as saying in the Daily Telegraph.

It is believed that Blackburn are keen to sell the former Liverpool and Bolton ace but they have yet to receive any firm bids and are now struggling to even contact the player they signed from Sunderland for a undisclosed fee back in January 2009.

Last season Diouf was sent out on loan soon after he was seen taunting Queen's Park Rangers player Jamie Mackie while he lay on the pitch with a broken leg during an FA Cup match.

After that game QPR manager Neil Warnock said of Diouf: "I was going to call him a sewer rat, but that might be insulting to sewer rats."

In 2004, he was embroiled in spitting incidents with a Middlesbrough supporter and the Portsmouth defender Arjan de Zeeuw, while he was also once investigated by police for allegedly making a racist comment to a white ball-boy.

I have a wonderful mental image of Steve Kean reporting back to Venky's "Yes, we looked in the cockpit too".
