If Stoke play City after losing the Cup final they will know that if City finish 5th they are not going to be in Europe but if City finish 4th they will be. Surely that is a conflict of interest.

Changing the date won't make any difference really. Reckon Stoke would still think the same thing. 'We lose here and we have a better chance of Europa League if we lose the final'
