Days out for the differently abled

I get the feeling that I might regret asking this question, but I'm an optimistic sort so perhaps I will get some helpful feedback....

 

I've got the time off work between Easter and the great, glorious Royal Wedding and have nothing organised. However, I will still be on crutches at the time (ruptured Achilles tendon a la Fabio Aurelio, mind you that could be said of most injuries...) so am after some ideas of days out / things to do in and around Liverpool that won't involve much walking if any. Getting somewhere by car is fine as the wife will have to drive, but once wherever we are I can't walk for very long in one go. Oh, and preferably cheap!

 

Anyway, bright ideas are welcome!
