OK, it's taken me a while, but I've finally got round to watching The Rise And Lies Of Tommy Sheridan.

 

Has no one ever told this man that when you hit the bottom, stop digging? Even after being found guilty, and while waiting to be sentenced, it's still everyone else who has lied and not him. He raises the bar for delusional loons.

As for his wife - how much control must he exert over her? Happy to lie for him, refuses to speak to the police when interviewed (just stares at the wall in a manner that reminds the officer of terror suspects) and thanks Scotland for its support once he has lost.

 

They make Jonathan Aitken and Jeffery Archer seem quite rational
