Karin Mackaliunas, 27, crashed her car on Sunday and was detained by Pennsylvania officers for a suspected theft at a bar in Dunmore.

 

Three bags of heroin were found in Mackaliunas's coat at the crash scene and a struggle ensued when a more thorough search was attempted at the police station. Mackaliunas then admitted that she had more drugs hidden in her genitals, according to a police report.

 

She was examined by a doctor at Scranton's Community Medical Centre where, police claim, 54 bags of heroin, 31 empty bags, eight and a half prescription pills and $51.22 in cash were found in her vagina.

 

Mackaliunas was jailed on charges including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
