New York Red Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Proper player that lad. Looks like a great buy so far. Another gem from t\he Portuguese league. I think we need to go after his brother, Malcom.
CarraLegend Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Nice on the ball and a goal threat. Didnt look so handy giving away a penalty at Fulham and getting rings run round him v Man Utd though.
carrafan Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Lots of good centrehalves about if teams are ready to spend that kinda money, not at all jealous that Chelsea got him.
muleskinner Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 He is an utter genius complete liability. he will win and lose the same game on his own.
Chili Palmer Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I can see him get a run of red cards if he's not lucky. In the games inbetween bans I can see him score goals and be immense. I'm undecided on him.
ChrisC Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 He we boss when played Benfica away the other year, marked Torres out of the game.
CarraLegend Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 He we boss when played Benfica away the other year, marked Torres out of the game. Torres missed a sitter in that game and we had 10 men for an hour anyway.
Jonesy Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Proper player that lad. Looks like a great buy so far. Another gem from t\he Portuguese league. I think we need to go after his brother, Malcom. It's like a Stamford Bridge Bridge over Torres Waters
Hassony Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Torres missed a sitter in that game and we had 10 men for an hour anyway. plus torres is s***, as we all know now
CaptainXabi Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Most entertaining player in the Prem. His full debut at Fulham was epic.
muleskinner Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Most entertaining player in the Prem. His full debut at Fulham was epic. Prefer Suarez meself.
CaptainXabi Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Prefer Suarez meself.I didn't say he was the best player in the league, just the most entertaining. Suarez is ace, and I wouldn't swap him, but when your centerhalf does a bicycle kick on the opposition touchline in open play, pops up on the wing for a 2 or 3 minute spell every 10 minutes, and tops it by giving up a stupid late penalty that's just a whole different level of entertaining. I also appreciated his kicking of anything in a red shirt against the Mancs.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 plus torres is s***, as we all know nowalways was
épieur Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I like Luiz a lot, he is great to watch, but I always get more entertained by our players doing great things for us. Since the 'most entertaining player in the league' will by default be a liverpool player for you, is there really any point in commenting on the most entertaining in the league?

Swipe Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 We'll all hate him the first time we play the Chavs next year and he does something mental. Unless it results in us scoring. Then we'll love him. Christ, he really does divide opinion.
schmuckdonald Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 He's basically a more cartoonish Thomas Vermealen. Good in highlight reels, pushing forward, but susceptible to simple defensive mistakes.
100LITes Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Cartoonish you say'.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTQE2-D3BRE&NR=1
