I'm gonna kill our season with this statement, but here goes - if we win tomorrow and Chelsea beat City, I think we've got a fighting chance of making the CL. We'd be 5 behind Spurs and 8 behind City, with both to come to Anfield. At the very least, the situation would begin to look in our own hands, to the extent that if we put the right run together (7 or 8 wins from 9) it should do the trick.

Become a massive game this. Spurs will falter and as DH argues above, City could lose as well. We get through this with three points and crucially we're on one game a week for the rest of the season; that's the sort of unfettered run in we haven't had for yonks and the sort this weak squad needs to pull results out of the hat.
