I loved every minute of watching him in that era.

I've been doing fist pumps on the bus to some of those goals.

I've been searching for the goal between 5.00 and 5.05 for absolutely ages. Though in my memory it was about 25yards outside the box Still a super goal all the same !

I reckon you are wrong comparing Barnes to Ronaldo.. Barnes was very creative and did not lose the ball like Ronaldo.. so over 120m

The one just before it too, he walks forward with the ball, the defender keeps backing off, so he just puts in the far right corner.... easy!

yeah, you are right. Gudjohnson gave us all time to think about it as he steadied himself to strike the ball and then it took an age didn't it. heartstopping moments.

 

They are very different moments, the Shevchenko one had no right to take place. Its quite strange every time I see it.
