badtodabone Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 according to the bbcafter we lost 1-0 we face a testto keep our campaign alive Liverpool face a test to keep their Europa League campaign alive after they were beaten by Braga in the first leg of their last 16 tie. yet man city lost 2-0 they still have a decent chance "But at 2-0 they are still in with a decent chance of going through and can possibly turn this around at Eastlands." do i not understand some thing?
Ramón Benítez Hernández Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 City's glorious history in European football and the fact that their home fans will give them that edge they need on another special European night at Eastlands.
eth Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Would you like them to standardize their language? In any case, 'a test' and 'decent chance' are about the same implied level of difficulty.
Andy-oh-six Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I suppose Man City have some decent attacking players available unlike ourselves.
schmuckdonald Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Although I think we have a better chance of qualifiying. They have Balotelli, Tevez, Dzeko, Silva. We have N'Gog. Simplistic, but still.
Hassony Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Although I think we have a better chance of qualifiying. They have Balotelli, Tevez, Dzeko, Silva. We have N'Gog. Simplistic, but still. we have Ngog, Carroll and Kuyt
schmuckdonald Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 A half-fit Carroll. Just how I think they look at it. Like I said, I think we've got a better chance. Kiev are a good side. They tore Besiktas a new a*** hole at their gaff.
Nate. Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Although I think we have a better chance of qualifiying. They have Balotelli, Tevez, Dzeko, Silva. We have N'Gog. Simplistic, but still. They need them seeing as they have to win by three clear goals to get through.
Billy Talbot Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 They need them seeing as they have to win by three clear goals to get through. "A decent chance"?
Woodsyla Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 according to the bbcafter we lost 1-0 we face a testto keep our campaign alive yet man city lost 2-0 they still have a decent chance do i not understand some thing? You've taken it completely out of context This was a quote by Danny Mills ex City player "Manchester City have been given a lesson on how to play two-legged European football. "But at 2-0 they are still in with a decent chance of going through and can possibly turn this around at Eastlands." The BBC statemnet for Liverpool was Liverpool face a test to keep their Europa League campaign alive after they were beaten by Braga in the first leg of their last 16 tie. For City it was Goals from Andriy Shevchenko and Oleh Gusev gave Dynamo Kiev a significant lead to take to Manchester after the Europa League last-16 first leg. further down they say But on this display they will struggle to keep their Europa League hopes alive. This is 'the media hates us gone mad'
Leo No.8 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 (edited) I think more ridiculous is the 'Nani Ruled Out Until April' headline, which sounds really dramatic - poor Nani. The article then says he is out for 'up to 2 weeks'. If he was out for the full 2 weeks that would take him to the 25th March, but it says 'up to' suggesting that is the maximum and he may be back sooner. Either this is some sort of f*cking March leap year or an attempt to make even more of a big deal about Carra's tackle. Yesterday another article in Metro had him out for longer due to an infection he hadn't got yet. Its just a f*cking cut on his leg, get over it. Edited March 11, 2011 by Leo No.8

Woodsyla Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 you seem to be in a jolly good mood today smart a***We've got enough to moan about without inventing stuff. He might not walk again.

Its carefully crafted 'poor us' from Manchester United.
dodgyscouser Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 The BBC & Sky hate to see us do well cuz we're fookin great :-)

anfield11 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 BELLotelli < PoulsenDzeko < N'Gog Thank goodness, I thought that I was the only one that laughs at how bad Balotelli is, let alone a pathetic spoilt brat. I'm sure he will find his level in Serie B in 2/3 years time.
