I own one of the original Xbox 360's, which has had the "red ring of death" error twice, and is now completely knackered. I'm now torn on what to do. I was just going to buy one of the new Xbox 360 "slim" models, as I've got a fair few games and peripherals, and always thought the Xbox was a great console. However, although the new Xbox is supposedly more reliable, I've heard that people are STILL having problems with them overheating and needing to be repaired. If Im going to pay £200 for a console I want it to be reliable.

So, do I:

A) Buy the new Xbox and hope it doesnt break down, as I've built up a collection of games etc for it already

B) Sell the games and various add ons and put that money towards the (apparently infinitely more reliable) PS3, even though its more expensive and I would have to start my collection of games from scratch

All advice appreciated, from both Xbox and PS3 owners! :)
