Looking for a new car

Have finally gave up on trying to run the Scooby as its running me into the ground so have had car valued for part ex and seems to be around thr 5-6k mark.

 

Am looking for a cheap and chearful car thats not horrificly slow.. 0-60 in around 10 seconds should just about stop me killing myself. Idealy looking for something in a 1.4-1.6 petrol or diesel......

 

 

I have had a look at the Mazda 2 and Fiesta S as well as the 1.6 focus is there anything else that you guys can recomend or have any of you owned one of these sorts of cars....am going to miss the Impreza alot! but my fuel bill is around £120 a week!
