About time.

Does this mean that the first 25k were all received before April 2004?

That's how I read it. I think I should be within that 25k then

70k is laughable really. Bout time the club got a realistic figure sorted out. Where were all these 70k this morning? I logged in after about 5 refreshes and got 2 in 207 for Braga. I know its only the EL, but a last 16 tie in any comp should have decent demand. Its 805pm as well, no excuses.

How many of those 70k will be dead? have moved abroad? lost interest?

If we get to the semi there'll be all sorts of g*******s coming out of the woodwork for a ticket.

I reckon our actual core support is nowhere near what people think.

In that case "Our Customer Services Team may be able to help you should this not be possible"

yes of course they will.....I'm literally brimming with confidence in them

I registered for more seasies in 2001 so obviously I'm smoking cigars here

not only that, in 2003 I got a letter asking me to fax them back (no doubt for Rick Parry) if I was still interested, which I did

and yet, if they have my details and this works out, I will give everyone on this forum £100*

I'm sure Spurs have a £50 deposit system

I drove down Tottenham High road with Gravy, the year the kids knocked them out of the Carling Cup, 2003? There were posters upall over offering 'half a season ticket' for Spurs at reduced rates, we were laughing our tats off at them.

Now they're claiming a 25K waiting list and saying they need a 70K stadium?

It's a funny one alright. The thing is, nobody reallly knows how many people would sign up once a season ticket became a possibility? There must be thousands of people up and down the country haven't considered it, if all of a sudden there were adverts on Sky Sports for season tickets at the top clubs what would be the take up? High I suspect, we'd have a lot of new match going fans.

I still think they should do more to ensure the registered people have them. What if there's an incident in the ground and the police are looking for a granny that died 20 years ago?

Sure, some of the fans using hand-me-down tickets are great fans - that's why I'd propose an amnesty first; you can have the ticket changed to your name.

After that I'd be demanding photo ID at each renewal and photo-fancards; you're allowed to give someone else the ticket 2 or 3 times per season. It'd go some small way to stopping touts.

far too much arsing about, and far too expensive to implement. agree about the amnesty though

Thats always going to be a problem as there'd still be thousands of people with single tickets who have bought off mates or touts. Unless you want some form of ID for everyone.

If you stick a photo ID on it, it's not good if you want to let it out on loan like I have done with mine for this season as I couldn't afford it this season

I can't recall the address I was at when I first applied. If they send a letter to me then I won't get it.

Spoke to Customer Services today about this as I'm in a similar position. You need to fill out one of these http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/contact letting them know about your change of address.

I phoned them too. they didn't tell me that. They said wait until all the letters are sent out and then phone them.

Typical. I'd do what was recommended to me.

Did you do it at a profit? I'm ringing the club. I'm ringing the club, the police and the Inland Revenue. You're going to rot in jail with 'Arry.

Or... under my grand scheme... the current buyback initiative could be extended. You just let the club know and they'll sell it on with the strict terms it's for one season only. Hell, you could even give them a 'preferred bidder' name.

A likely story... tell it to the judge, sonny.

Maybe all renewals for 2012 need to be done at the ground in person with photo ID. It gives everyone time to plan trips over there.

I've filled in my form

so that's the third time they've had my season ticket request in writing...what can possibly go wrong? unsure.gif

Did you ever get a response? I've had a couple now in the past confirming a different change of address and also my unique ID on the list which is 05932. I'm presuming this means I'm about 6000th in the queue......which isn't too bad considering.
