moptop46 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Whats the point? Why play him he is one of the worst players in a red shirt i have seen for 40 years!
CarraLegend Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 He is a serious liability, its not even asif he brings anything positive on the odd occasion, he is pure garbage. Partly because he's crap with a ball at his feet and partly because he can barely move anymore. If he's in our team we start with 10men.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 f*** off Poulsenf*** off Purslowf*** off Koncheskyf*** off Hodgson
Beardsley Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 He DID complete a pass and break up their play once...
MFletcher Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) 'Once'. And that's not deliberately underplaying his contribution. Edited February 25, 2011 by MFletcher
Beardsley Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 'Once'. And that's not deliberately underplaying his contribution. He, he. I know. Was supposed to be dripping with irony there.
Swipe Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 so did you Mike Mike's "It's My Party" song is better than Christian Poulsen.
Hightown Phil Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 spearing offered 10 x more. And he isn't even very good.
_00_deathscar Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 And he isn't even very good. Thought he had a decent game last night, although that may just have been a reflection of how bad Poulsen was.
muleskinner Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I did feel a bit for him when he was subbed, getting cheered again, despite everything must be pretty depressing for him. He will be first out of the door this summer, there is no hope for him, end up back in Denmark.
Eiler99 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I can't believe he's only 30. He can't run anymore! Seeing him play you'd think he was closer to 40.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 We should leave him at the hawthorns when we play them
Eiler99 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Said in the summer that he'd be a disaster in the league but might be a decent option in Europe. Looks like I was only half right.
Rex Ham Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Spearing did more good in the 30 seconds after coming on than Poulsen offered during the whole time he was on the pitch. I like to think I give everyone a fair crack, but this c**t is just f***ing rubbish. Edited February 25, 2011 by Rex Ham

Tell the manager, sorry, I know you have picked me but I can't cut it. If he's not good enough, he's not good enough. He gives his best but falls short - very poor to boo someone off the pitch - unless it's PFK of course

Either Kenny sees something in him or Kenny is making a mistake.
smithdown Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 With his experience and the level of opposition that should have been a piece of p1ss for him last night. Hold the position, keep it simple, fill the gaps etc
Benzo-13 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 To think Hodgson put him in his World Cup "10 to watch". It's like that man has never watched a game in his life!! He was decent at Schalke and early Sevilla but his legs are gone.
smithdown Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 To think Hodgson put him in his World Cup "10 to watch". It's like that man has never watched a game in his life!! Is that a joke? A World Cup and you should be lookng out for Denmark's defensive midfielder? He's a belter him he really is.
CarraLegend Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 8. Christian Poulsen (Denmark): At the beginning of the season he was unwanted at Juventus, who had signed the Brazilian international Felipe Melo for 20m euros to take his place. Despite this replacement signing, Poulsen started Juve’s league campaign and was an important figure for them up until the time he broke his leg. Now fully recovered, I expect him to shoulder responsibility for Denmark’s midfield where as a holding player he not only reads the game but also provides the tackles, the passing and the example to team-mates that coach Morten Olsson depends upon. He’s relied upon heavily to dictate the style of play. Denmark could surprise a few people. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/world-cup-2010/7803370/World-Cup-2010-Roy-Hodgsons-10-players-to-watch-in-South-Africa.html
