So I'm buying a new car...

Nothing too flash but I wanted an upgrade from the tiny Peugeot I currently drive.

Mine's worth about £6k, the new one's on for £12.5k. It's 3 years old, done about 22k miles.

I've never bought a car from a dealer before so I'm going in with a view to getting the difference down to about 5k, whether its the value of mine or the asking price of the new one.

 

For those that have done this, does that seem reasonable?
