Broadband providers

I'm seriously considering changing providers, I used to be with Bulldog who got sold to Pipex then Tiscali then Talk Talk. I am technically a Pipex customer but they dont really exist any more and are charging me £35 for a fone line I dont use and 8mb broadband - basically its a rip off compared to other providers

 

So bearing in mind I'm a Sky and O2 customer and think I have a cable coming into the house thats never been used since I have been there - what decent, fast and reliable providers would you suggest cos looking at all the comparison sites its making me go
