I'm filling in an application form and am trying to tailor my personal statement to fit the points listed in the job description.

 

One of them is, "Demonstrate effective transition from gaining academic knowledge to applying this knowledge to commercial context."

 

So, how do I say I will make this transition ? My mind has gone blank.
