makes sense given theres a weeks gap until the return leg then on 2 or 3 days before the league game v WHU. The time tor est players is in the return leg, put the strongest 11 out on Thursday, get a few goals and hopefully a 2 goal lead for the return match and rest the likes of Agger, Gerrard, Lucas and Kelly for the 2nd leg

yes if it's in a different competition, eg if played in CL can play in Europa with new club and vice versa

 

Suarez not listed in present new squad list on uefa.com, but read somewhere that if Ajax get knocked out this round he can play in the next, that probably needs further checking out
