damn, I was enjoying not hearing from him or seeing his face.

It's going to be unbearable hearing virtually everyone in the British press clamouring for him to do well.

Christ. From Di Matteo to Hodgson? Astounding.

I'm sure you can think of a similar but even more astounding change

Yes, but think of it this way, it'll be a constant reminder that he isn't our manager.

That was one of the worst things, you'd see him on TV talking utter garbage and think to yourself, f**k, he's actually manager of LFC.

He'll do well for them, currently they are getting battered because they can't defend, he will soon have them camped on their own box resolutely defending trying to nick a 1-0 win. The fans will be delighted after all that free flowing football they have been watching.

poor West brom.

There's just no learning some people. It's like the board have gone, "well, that young, exciting, intelligent manager we employed didn't work out instantly, lets opt for the tried and failed old-boy-network appointment.

Could be a legend for them. Great guy and just look at what he did for Fulham. Manager of the year too.

A quality move by West Brom.

and when they invariably stay up all the credit will go to Hodgson for turning it around. Actually West Brom are no different to Wolves, getting battered one week but pulling of a spectacular win the next, there was no need to panic they probably would have stayed up anyway.

I don't bear any grudge against him tbh

Erm he is responsible for the fact we are unlikely to qualify for the CL this season and therefore the loss of Torres. He was almost certainly largely responsible for Mascherano leaving.

Sure, he didn't appoint himself, but he didn't quit when it became clear he couldn't do the job, hanging on for financial gain and taking the club down with him.

He's a c**t, I'm glad he's at WBA so I can watch him get relegated and try to blame it on the previous manager yet again.

why? he made poor decision after poor decision which effected the club. f*** him.

Also said some unleasant things about Kenny wanting the job. Which is not acceptable.

They won't stay up now. Bearing in mind they obviously won't win any away matches, they've got 6 home matches left, which include us, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa and Everton.

They also have West Ham and Wolves, but they are their next two matches, so he needs an immediate impact

He'll succeed either way

Good old boy Roy couldn't quite save freefalling West Brom

or

LMA Manager of the Year Roy Hodgson saves freefalling West Brom

Win win

Contract till 2012. In it for the long haul.

I would have thought that the less 'impact' he has the better.
