friend of mines father suffers from altzheimers and is in a care home which he has paid for since he had to sell his home. unfortunately the money is running out and in about 4 months he will have none left,the council only pay £400 a week but the home is £700 none of his children have enough spare cash to pay the difference ,so they are worried he will have to be moved ,the problem is it takes him a long time to settle and hes doing really well in the home he is. does anyone know of anyway to get some sort of assistance in these cases or is it a lost cause,my friend is totally distraught at the thought of moving him
