I've not seen one given in ages. We deserved one last night in the penalty box against Stoke when Gerrard was obstructed.

I thought it was clear obstruction. My understanding is that obstruction is an indirect free kick, regardless of where it is on the pitch

You could see Gerrard having a laugh after Huth's challenge on Kelly. Almost certainly reflecting on his own recent red card which wasn't in the same league as that by Huth last night.

Are you talking about ID FK's in general or just for obstruction?

 

The annoying one is at the corner flag - if the ball is not within playing distance - i.e. can you reach it with your foot - then it's obstruction

IDFKs in general, I haven't seen them given in a long time. Many DFKs and of course penalities, but when last did you see two players standing over the ball because the HAD to?
