Hmmm. Loyalty for many of them was just a happy set of circumstances. Like the team you were in winning all around it from the year of your début on, or the move you engineered falling through at the last minute. This is not to mention Carragher and Giggs and Scholes presumably having had a chance to sign for the teams they actually supported.
