Let him go in the summer. We can't use his money this window so there's no point selling now.

Yep, if we get the money in now, we'll be penalised for spending it in the summer anyway.

Would be naive and damaging to allow him to leave in this window. We have to do what is best for the club, and that is to dictate the timing and terms of his departure to our maximum benefit, and that means the Summer. What Chelsea and he would like matters very little.

So the logic in that is to either put the money in the bank and have no player, or rush out and try and spend it in two days?

Suely the money will be the same if not more come the summer, it's not as if Chelsea are offering a world record figure or even a top player.

Nothing less than 50 million and never ever sell him to a PL club. Either he agrees to go to a club overseas or stays. Liverpool are bigger than any footballer no matter who he is!

I'm still holding out for a last minute change of heart, not ready to turn against him just yet.

Even though I hate him for doing this with this timing, that's kinda how I feel as well. Let's just wait this out 'til the summer, see if the club manages to convince him to stay. If he stays, great. If he doesn't, we get a fat wad of cash to spend on at least two top class players.

Who could afford him, Real and Barca. And Barca already have arguably a better striker.

If he decides to stay a la Gerrard then he has done the right thing. If he goes - especially two days before the window shuts - he's a 24 carrot c***

Whether it's now or the summer, he's damaged his reputation beyond repair, in my opinion.

Honestly never thought he'd be as blunt as this, it's f*cking heartbreaking.

Let's wait and see what happens - and if he goes (which I think he very well might do!), let's see when the full story comes out.

Price 60 million no negotiation.

Any club is going to add 10-15 million to the price of his replacement.. value wont change in the summer.

Put a cluase saying he has to be in the team to face us next week so he cant chicken out of facing us!

Transfer request 3 days before the window shuts is a c**** trick and he should rightly be hammered for it.

I'd reserve my judgment before this window's over

Still thinks it's unlikely for him to go in the next few days, and there's still some good in the lad

Just trying to remember the bloody good times he has given me
