charlie clown Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I went to a restaurant in France a few months ago and had one of the best dinners I have ever had. The main course was one that I thought 'I must try and remember what this is' but as we didn't see the menu again I couldn't check what it was... so if I describe it, if you know what it was, can you let me know.... Beef. Kind of shredded. Looked like it had been put into a round bowl or dish and then had a glaze/jelly/sauce poured over it which had set solid. The bowl/dish was then turned over on to the plate to present a roundel of beef in something like a warm jelly. I don't need to know the exact details of the recipe (obviously) but if anyone knows what this method serving beef (or lamb or wahtever) is, I sure would be 'preciative.
