Only use them. That first goal we scored today while never being offside would have resulted in a load of angry wolves players shouting at the assistant ref if it was a bloke.

They didn't dare cos it was a girl. No one is gonna shoult at a girl in public.

she looked very young, how old is she?

she got an offside decision horribly wrong soon after the goal

That was a shocker, maybe the 4th didn't communicate the goal was fine and it was a trigger flag.

Yeah I thought at the time she only gave that cos she didn't give the first and was unsure

Yeah. Ridiculously wrong. I wasn't critiquing her performance though.

Can't shout at a girl on a football pitch if you're a fella. Genius.

Keys and Gray in a bit of bother apparently. Caught moaning about the very idea of female officials.

The very idea of Keys even thinking he has in any way a valid opinion on football is shocking in itself.

Keys should speak to the lady officials about hair removal products.

Ian Darke was close to being a bit of a dick on ESPN, McManaman was very PC when speaking of the "referee's assistant, no mention of gender.

Hopefully a sacking for both of them but most probably a stern warning and end of. :o(

“Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her.” – Richard Keys.

“Women don’t know the offside rule.” – Andy Gray.

Keys: “Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her.”

Gray: “Can you believe that? A female linesman. Women don’t know the offside rule.”

Keys: “Course they don’t. I can guarantee you there will be a big one today. Kenny (Liverpool manager Dalglish) will go potty. This isn’t the first time, is it? Didn’t we have one before?

Keys: “The game’s gone mad. Did you hear charming Karren Brady this morning complaining about sexism? Do me a favour, love.”

Absolutely no surprise that these gimps are caught saying this stuff. So stereotyped too, it's almost as if they're trying to parody their own idiocy, but obviously they don't have the intelligence for that.

Come on Internet Terrorists, register your disgust (at having to listen to g*******s Keys and Gray during every Sly Sports footie broadcast) here:

Why Kenny and not Mick McCarthy?

Tossers the pair of them. Sent an email to Sky on the off chance they will pay attention to their customer base.

Aren't assistant referees covered by the same association as referees? I'd have thought they'd have come out and said something.

If fans started singing "get yer ***s out for the lads" again there'd be uproar.

Mike Riley, general manager of the referees’ body said: “All referees and assistant referees are appointed on merit and ability. They are assessed on their performances only.”

That'll learn 'em.

I do think they are in a pickle though and SKY coud be forced into some pretty severe sanctions here.

Have Keys do a show in a cocktail dress and Gray in a ball gown

i would imagine about 90% of sky's football-watching customer base probably agrees with them. or thinks what they were saying was just funny.

nothing will come of this. a minorly contrite apology delivered with a knowing smirk. sky is way, way too powerful in english football.

This was on Radio 4 this morning. They played the conversation. Sky have apologised.

What a pair of muppets they sounded. Like male officials don't screw up on a regular basis.
