matty Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 The massive gobsh)te has fallen out with Valdano and may be leaving Madrid, according to AS. diddums taking his ball home because he's not going to win the league? shame.
johngibo YPC Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I'll be disappointed he leaves before the end of the season as i don't expect him to win anythingBut its nice to see him look silly all the same
Kahnee Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 They were saying on Football Weekly that Mourinho played a part in Rafa losing his job
Cam Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Don't care about is obvious t***tishness.... get him in over the summer.
Maldini Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Valdano seems to fall out with everyone at that club at some stage, makes you wonder what he has that makes successive presidents keep him over successful managers.
matty Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 Don't care about is obvious t***tishness.... get him in over the summer. That's what we need, someone who'll be in it for the good of club over the long haul.
johngibo YPC Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) That's what we need, someone who'll be in it for the good of club over the long haul. Just imagine him replacing Kenny. Its the definition of selling your soul that Edited January 19, 2011 by johngibo YPC
Epic Swindle Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 We could do worse. Wonder if they'll go after Rafa.
johngibo YPC Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 We could do worse. Wonder if they'll go after Rafa. I can't see it. It would have been interesting if Werner had included Rafa in the great managers the club has had before, but he didn't.
deacon Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Just imagine him replacing Kenny. Its the definition of selling your soul that Correct. I'd be gutted if he was at the club. A complete and utter c*** of a man.
surf Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 He'd be our c***. He wins matches and that's what we need.
carrafan Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 He'd be our c***. He wins matches and that's what we need. He cannot find himself to last a few years at one club and seems to pick fights with everyone behind the scenes. Mourinho can f*** off.
slapnuts Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 They were saying on Football Weekly that Mourinho played a part in Rafa losing his job how come mate?
Leo No.8 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 If Mourinho leaves Madrid and we have money to spend, I expect him to be a candidate for our job - and a very strong one at that.
yellow jumper Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 you get the impression he doesn't really give a f*** about the clubs he works at. just sees them as a means to an end.
Rimbeux Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 you get the impression he doesn't really give a f*** about the clubs he works at. just sees them as a means to an end. It's him and his players against the rest it seems and anyone else who wants to come along for the ride. I've not seen much beyond twitter on the soap opera, but he's earlier had a go at Valdano for not defending the players, now what I heard on the radio on the drive home about certain people not wanting to offend other clubs. Clearly trying to set up an enemy within, and with no subtlety, but lots of possible outcomes including everything staying exactly as is. It's certainly interesting, because Real have a lot riding on him and their most expensive ever squad, trying to overhaul Barca's best ever in what comes down to two head to heads and a couple of errors, much like Scotland. It's a league that really needs a more even distribution of tv money, with only two teams anyone outside fans wants to watch and only two who can compete, I'm starting to think it might become all about Ronaldo and Messi.
surf Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 He cannot find himself to last a few years at one club and seems to pick fights with everyone behind the scenes. Mourinho can f*** off. Chelsea, Inter & Real. How many coaches have they had between over past 5 years? He might be a c***, but not staying at one club is not just down to him.
épieur Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Valdano seems to fall out with everyone at that club at some stage, makes you wonder what he has that makes successive presidents keep him over successful managers. Two presidents. '97-00 under Sanz, then 00-05 & 09-present under Perez. Don't think Perez will ever have anyone else for sporting director, whatever the reasons.
Raj Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 They were saying on Football Weekly that Mourinho played a part in Rafa losing his job What was said? Did they give any more information? It's a league that really needs a more even distribution of tv money, with only two teams anyone outside fans wants to watch and only two who can compete, I'm starting to think it might become all about Ronaldo and Messi. The first part is going to happen. Announced earlier this seasonI like watching Villareal. They're good to watch. Otherwise I agree, only two competeToo much class in Barca for it to ever be just about Messi.
Kahnee Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 how come mate? What was said? Did they give any more information? Without going back and refreshing my memory, Mourinho was having words in ears at Inter. Mourinho also texted the players and told them to be nice to his mate Leonardo
meepins Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thankfully he said he would never manage us so no need to worry.
Epic Swindle Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Think he's just haggling for a new striker.
épieur Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Thankfully he said he would never manage us so no need to worry. Thankfully, that quote was fabricated.

Yeh, some movement, but they still get 70% right? edit, much less, now 33% rather than 40%. Re Ronaldo and Messi, I meant in terms of appeal for viewers, that what it could eventually become sold as is a globetrotters style trickshoot for the two, rather than the vibrant football league it was five odd years ago.
