We had a heated debate over dinner in the Clown houshold last night. The topic: is Elton John s****?

 

Clearly th answer is 'yes' (can't sing, incredibly limited vocal range, decades of dull as f*** records, no sense of excitement, sex, or danger in any of his records, ever (a prerequisite for all rock n roll), a small handful of half decent songs about 35 years back and then thirty-odd years of trading on his prowess as a 'showman' rather than on any musical hots, a t***, Goodbye English Rose..... the list goes on).

 

Seriously. Is there any redeeming feature there at all?
