we let too much get through midfield, we concede possession too cheaply. Its caused our defenders, all of them, to play like nervous breakdown patients for 12 months.

Sort the midfield out, get them passing, get poulsen off to a retirement home.

I and hundreds of others for months have been saying that Johnson is not a good defender, nothing to do with knee-jerking.

How true. The odd occasion he's been superb but generally he's a midtable midfielder...a return to the top will require players like that being on the bench.

A knee-jerk perhaps - but GJ has had more than one s*** game.

He gets a few games to really see what players he's got on his hands though. Its important that we are patient.

Has been crap for some time.

 

Needs to improve sharpish or I'd be selling him in the summer. The lad can't defend, and that's a major problem for a full back. It's fine when he's tearing it up down the wing in the way he was in his first couple of months. He's been largely s*** ever since though.

Silly question Kev, but why would he hide - we know we'll get honesty and no steaming bullsh*t with Dalglish that we got with the Clown from Croydon. Dalglish will have to learn a few touch-line lessons, and very quickly, but the insinuation that he would hide is just wrong.

 

He's not going to be bullet-proof, no-one is but let's not swing too much against "protecting" the legend eh ?
