This isn't a rant because it's the Mancs....although it doesn't help.

But why oh why is this stuff allowed? Besides the recipients [maybe] the only team it helps is the Mancs. What if his goals help beat one of the contenders or avoid a West Brom relegation.

It's one of the most mental rules of all if you ask me.

It's not every other clubs problem that they sign a player that can't get a game, maybe some other team could have bought him for cheaper, if the Mancs weren't in for him.

What are you talking about? I assume it's the Macheda loan? Not exactly an unusual requirement that they want the player to play.

No it isn't......but same league and division...all wrong. Loan him to Cardiff, or Bilbao or whoever.

One of the silver linings in this nightmare season is that we're now officially so s*** that Man City would contemplate letting us have their cast offs, because they don't have to fear us as rivals in any way shape or form.

Yeah was thinking that, in a way they'd be delighted to loan us a cast off or two, Liverpool having to loan players off Man City! Plus he'd be able to play for us against Chelsea, Utd etc but not v them.

Wouldnt surprise me, and he's a bit of a bellend but he's much better than Ngog.

too right they shouldnt. Just on the simple basis that its unethical, they should only be allowed to loan players to teams in a different division.

It might stop Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City etc stockpiling players just for the sake of it. If Man Utd cant find a place for the players they've loaned out, like Diouf at Blackburn then they shouldnt sign them n the first place.

Loan them to teams in a different league, different division or just stuff em in the reserves.

What about us, we loan out players, we have lots of professionals on the books, but seems a lot are not actually good enough to attract premier league loans. It's part of youth development. The U19 and reserve football is poor and wont do. By all means restrict the age to 22 or something, but that's it

Should only be stopped if Rafa's idea of reserve teams playing in the main leagues happened. Otherwise they've got to get experience somewhere. We should do it more, Pacheco, Kelly, Wilson, Spearing all should have been loaned out, given Roy's reluctance to play them. Just have them on instant recall loans.
