how to let RH know how we feel at the game

you chant this:

"f*** off Purslow"

kill two birds with one stone but in a typically enigmatic and leftfield Liverpool style...boy will that feel good

it's gotta happen

SOS need to get behind this

I suspect once/if the situation between Pepe/Nando and Hodgson/the old bloke form Up is established as true and becomes common knowledge there will be no lack of the crowd letting Hodgson know how we feel.

A f*** off Purslow chant is a great shout in its own right.

i think chants at the game have to start. Maybe not "The Liverpool Way", but can we really stand back and watch the team being destroyed?

'f*** off Purslow' ticks all the boxes

Still think there would need to be direct chants against Hodgson and Kelly. The press are a bit thick and may not work out that theyre also against Hodgson.

Or we could sing.

"If you're happy and you know it stamp your feet"

But you don't stamp you feet, that would send a massive message out to NESV.

Any chants against Purslow would be counterproductive imho as across all news media (sports, business and mainstream news reports) Broughton and Purslow were the leading lights ON BEHALF OF the fans in the fight against G&H...front page, back page, business sections, 6 o'clock news and so on...any bile against him now would get totally lost in translation for those not at all interested in the ongoing running of the club and would start to slight our fans as being small minded-crisis club mentality fans... ungrateful and long past being 'the most knowledgable fans etc...' If you want to do it and maintain a degree of dignity I reckon you speak to intelligent men as intelligent men...Henry and Werner know the score. I agree with Reade that Roy is a caretaker in all but name...its a matter of when. If we want that sooner rather than later then why not pen a well thought out, statistically backed up letter that states in no uncertain terms why we have regrettably taken this course of action, make it available for general circulation and invite people to adopt and mail it to the club. It could be mailed as individuals but also the fans forums could sent it on behalf of their membership, SOS could adopt it, supporters clubs etc... I reckon this would seriously start to do the trick...

areas to cover in the letter would be

- the number of clubs in a 35 year period (too many to suggest Roy is seriously the man for the long term)

- his age and the age profile of his players (seriously out of touch with NESV buy-em-young moneyball thing...)

- his lack of success at any club of a similar stature (citing Inter and noting the lack of others)

- his inability to win away from home - looking at the whole of his premiership career

- his defensive small club mentality

- his inane ramblings to the press that have exuded self praise and arrogance whilst at the same time not instilling arrogance into the team

- his lack of support from Liverpool fans

- the basic general perception that he is not the man for the job

This can be done in a way that states it is nothing personal towards the guy, though also commenting on how this is becoming more personal the longer he oversees our demise, and although not harf as sexy as being internet terrorists....would show the very bright and switched on owners of our club that we know our club, we respect our owners, we think about and care about our game...and that we need a new manager...

these are my humble offerings...

a solid enough effort Chewie but I'll think you'll find that chants of 'f*** off Purslow' will very quickly get the job done

very, very quickly

As has been said bringing Purslow into it will inevitably result in some of the media printing stuff about 'ungrateful Liverpool fans'

Why hide the message behind Purslows name and not go straight to the point? Hodgson Out - leaves no one in any doubt as to the message no matter how dimwitted the person who hears it is.

I don't care about the media

they hate us 'cos we're different, so let's be consistent and baffle the c****, whilst preserving our traditions

fair enough baffle them if that floats your boat, you wont get the intended message across though because the media such as sky are incredibly thick and wont have the capcity to link Purslow to the appointment of Hodgson, so an opportunity missed. And if you try to sell the Purslow argument to fans a lot would come back with him getting rid of H&G.

I am all for online polls etc but they are too vague for the media to pick up on...

Can I suggest that the various LFC supporters clubs come together and start an online petition for the removal of Roy Hodgson?

Each signature (online) would have to add their name, email address, and how long a supporter of the club.

Also petition could be filled out by supporters on match day by calling into one central point.

Result would be immediately a media story in that Liverpool supporters have started a petition to remove Hodgson with the angle of the growing power of football fans.

Story would contuine to snowball as the signature list grows and finally can be presented to the club by a certain date / home match by the various LFC supporters groups.

in all seriousness, I think he will be gone very soon

but I'm desperate for a 'f*** off Purslow!' chant...hate that c*** so much - can't believe the slimy toe rag is involved with our club

Hope you're right bout Fraudson. This is getting REALLY depressing. Everyday I wake up hoping to read about his sacking.

PS: been a while, how are things? hope the family is well!

yeah dude, on an individual basis, the former family is great

me too - happy as Larry at the moment, getting a result every day on all fronts at the moment

how are you? still living where you were? if so, and if we haven't talked about it before, got a restaurant recommendation for you

If you're f*ck off Purslow chant doesn't come to fruition, there's always the more direct "we want you sacked in the morning" Guantanamera song...

#footinmouth... it's been a LONG time - will shoot you an email soon

Or we could get a playlist going ?

Madness - You're an embarrassment.

The Clash - Should I stay or should I go.

Brad Sucks - Dont know what I am doing. (it's a real record honest).
