My laptop decided to reboot overnight, except it didn't reboot. It got stuck in a repair mode and won't boot Windows (pre-installed by Dell)

 

2nd time in a year this has happened: first was XP and now 7.

 

Anyone got any tips? Hammer is a good idea, as is get a Mac...
