Hassony Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 any ideas? we're guaranteed to go through top of the group, so most likely a second string line up JonesKellyWilsonGreekAurelio Poulsen (boooooooooooooo)Suso (would be nice)ColeJovababelPacheco
magneto Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Dont want a single player over 21 in that team
CarraLegend Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Dont really care, hope the 1000s of Dutch loons are a laugh though.
johngibo YPC Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Dont want a single player over 21 in that team Plenty of our players could do wiht minutes thoughDefo Cole, Jova, Poulson, Fabio and Babel
Chili Palmer Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Plenty of our players could do wiht minutes thoughDefo Cole, Jova, Poulson, Fabio and Babel And Dirk as captain, but I manage with emotion.
Conrad Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Reina and Torres are both playing. Good that Torres is playing - he needs to get newcastle out of his system
CarraLegend Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Someone is fearing for his job. "But it's also a chance for Ryan Babel. Fernando Torres will be involved in the game, as will Pepe Reina and our centre-backs."
Hassony Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 Reina and Torres are both playing. Jones must be really really s****
Stupid Sexy Flanders Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Reina and Torres are both playing. Could be because of the free tickets given out to the kids, Reina and Torres would be the players they'd want to see. Happy kids makes happy parents maybe?
smithdown Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Someone is fearing for his job. "But it's also a chance for Ryan Babel. Fernando Torres will be involved in the game, as will Pepe Reina and our centre-backs." Could be. Might have been told he has one more defeat left eh? Certainly wouldn't have looked good after yesterday's interview to risk a 0-1 no matter the state of qualification.
Sion Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Be good if he plays a strong team and we still get battered.
baz2107 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 ideal opportunity to play Kelly right back and try Johnson right mid, think playing Greek and Skrtel is a risk with Carra out and Agger supposedly back soon but fragile, should give Wilson another go
Flight Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Reina and Torres are both playing. Daughter saw Stevie in the village earlier, he said Nando is playing. He's got the day off.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Dont for the life of me see the point in playing Torres in the most pointless game of the season so far especially given that its a game ahead of the Christmas period !!!
Andy-oh-six Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Dont for the life of me see the point in playing Torres in the most pointless game of the season so far especially given that its a game ahead of the Christmas period !!! The fallout if he gets a knock and misses the Christmas period will be huge. Same with Pepe. Hodgson knows it is crunch time job wise.
Falconhoof Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Someone is fearing for his job. "But it's also a chance for Ryan Babel. Fernando Torres will be involved in the game, as will Pepe Reina and our centre-backs." I'm missing the significance of that quote, but have been drinking more than usual. What is he on about ?
CarraLegend Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I'm missing the significance of that quote, but have been drinking more than usual. What is he on about ? The team for tomorrow It just seems weird Torres and the centre backs are starting, he played a weaker team when we werent through in Bucharest but now we are through and are at home and the team will be stronger? Just seems weird to me, and might be reading to much into it but it smacks a bit of being desperate for a result after that phone in and knowing the owners will be at the game.
Dan Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Another perfect oportunity for the crowd to send over the edge of the cliff. The iron is hot let's t*** him with it right in his grid.
Billy Dane Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Torres will play the first half to give the youngsters in the crowd a taste of what it is like to see a world cup and europan championship winner in action. Big marketing opportunity for the club. I bet Hodgson has been told to play him.The fact that the team will be ordered to sit back and contain and just hoof it in the general direction of Torres is where the plan will fall apart.
_00_deathscar Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Jones must be really really s**** "Just how s*** is Brad Jones?" Is this like 'Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?'
Dominus Maximus Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Maybe what Torres needs is goals, and playing him tomorrow gives him a good chance of scoring.
Dominus Maximus Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Maybe what Torres needs is goals, and playing him tomorrow tonight gives him a good chance of scoring.
smithdown Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Just seen first dutch fan for the day, a great big fat lad with a ginger mullet and tash. Could tell even before seeing the scarf round his neck.
fred milne Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Be good if he plays a strong team and we still get battered. Why?
