Will the crowd now turn on Roy?

There hasn't really been that much of an anti-Roy sentiment in the ground so far, will that change now? Should the fans get on his back? It's not really in keeping with our traditions, but then neither is the waterfall of s**** we've had to put up with over the last few months.

Can't argue with that, it's been dismal, we are however only 3 point off 5th despite this and the loss today.

Yep. f***ing awful, but last year was no different, every team has a shocker once or twice a season, and you can hardly call Stoke a shocking defeat away from home. Plenty of top sides have been turned over there.

Bizarre that one, don't know what Roy is playing at with his media tactics, hoping it's some form of reverse psychology.

Can't really judge him on Fulham alone, he has a better squad at his disposal here and two-thirds of a season left to work with them, though its clear it needs sorting and double f***ing quick.

I'm more worried that if we don't spend then we can more or less guarantee to lose Torres and maybe others at the end of this year, but then again I wouldn't give Roy more than 50p at present.

Also, i posted this sentiment in another thread, but I don't understand how we rallied against thicks et al to get rid of them, but seem to accept this loser, who is destroying the soul.

 

The bad owners were destroying the brand and value of the club, this guy is destroying our soul and values which is worse. With hicks and gillette, we would have fallen too, but eventually someone would have bought us, and money would have fixed the problem. This manager though, is destroying the very essence of who we are and if he destroys that, its a much longer road back.

 

I would like to see us call for Roy's head when we are winning. I wanted the fans to call for his head during and after Roy's head, so the owners are clear, its not results, its the man.

I'm going to ignore the obvious attempt to compare Hodgson not unfavourably with Benitez because I think it's puerile. However the obvious decision from your post is that Hodgson needs to go and we need a manager that we can trust to spend money while gaining the confidence of the players.

Wasn't the intention of the post mate, and you are right it is puerile to compare managers I was trying to focus on the results and the team in general.

 

The second part of your sentence is spot on, Hodgson isn't the right man for this club and I'd be loathe to chuck £20M his way if I was NESV. It's a case of who to bring in, can anyone realistically see Kenny turning this season round?

 

As I said though, I fear if we don't spend in January, and spend well, then Torres will be packing his bags before February.

I never experienced so much anti-feelings against a manager of liverpool. With Houllier and Benitez there was alwas a large part who defended them. But now I cant think of anyone who actually wants to give him more time. And if there is anyone, then he or she should examine themselve.
