Zone Alarm

So, I get a message asking me to upgrade ZoneAlarm, so I do.

 

Now I get pop up ads for Zone Alarm, and it insists on 'finding' my wireless network every day, despite the fact that I tell it every day what the network is.

 

And, this is the biggie for me, Spotify now crackles, like its buffering. And the Zone Alarm symbol in my system bar (the one at the lower right hand of my screen is showing data coming in (green) pretty much constantly without the hard disk making any noise and with no applications running.

 

Grrrrrrr. Anyone else had this?? Is there a way of finding out what this mysterious stream of incoming data is?
