As it says on the tin. It's not about superfandom, more about what you feel has been effective and how we'd best fit a strategy for next time (god help us this doesn't happen)

Boycott matches & merchandise.

It's the ONLY language that c*nts like G&H understand - the last few days have underlined just how little they care about the club.

If a gropup of 20 supporters were on fire, Hicks would try and negotiate a settlement before pulling the pin on the extinguisher - we're nothing to him 'cept dollars and dimes.

I think e-mail and social media allows campaigns to be taken worldwide and helps others identify the depth of anger about ownership in this case. I don't think we should underestimate the power of bad publicity that this can generate. Boycotting merchandising is naturally another really powerful weapon, which hits them in the pocket, but the use of social media etc generates the publicity that is necessary to garner attention to an issue.

I was first over the parapet

let's change this around

who did nothing? come on, tell us - you were right to do nothing 'cos it turned out fine so you were right and we're all mugs

With hingsight the email campaigns, particularly to RBS, would have been started much earlier.

Absolutely, the ones that came only did because of the silence coming from elsewhere, we all know why now.

It should've happened before the last extension.

However we would've probably ended up in administration without Broughton involved imho.

Anyway. Happy days.

The day H & G had to accept the bringing in of Broughton and the associated undertakings, in April, was the point at which the die was cast.

What was the makeup of the board prior to Hicks Jr being sacked?

Did whoever kept emailing him, provoking that outburst, inadvertently alter the majority on the board, making the Broughton Maneuver possible?

Boycotting matches should have been a given except for exceptional circumstances.

Well done to everyone who did. The first game back is going to be so much sweeter.

Credit also to folk like smithdown and sniffer for making the ultimate sacrifice and giving up their seasies

With Hodgson in charge that has actually proved not to be a hardship.
