It would be really tragic after everything that has happened if when Australian banks open in a few hours, they're able to pay this off.

Feels like everyones gone out on the piss thinking we're home and dry. In 2 hours or less the Australian banks will open. I hope to god we can laugh about this last minute panic tomorrow.

Dear Sirs,

 

I appreciate that you are probably coming to work to find a considerable number of e mails from disgruntled Liverpool FC fans and I further appreciate that most, if not all, of you will have no idea what this is all about. Essentially, the name of your bank has been circulated as potentially considering granting a loan to Tom Hicks so that he can service his debt to the Royal Bank of Scotland and maintain his ownership of the English football team, Liverpool FC.

 

If any of you are in any way involved in negotiations with Hicks, please do not loan him any money. Even a preliminary investigation would show that he is systematically destroying a football club beloved of many. Indeed, he has a history of doing this to other sports franchises. Furthermore, the terrible endeavours that RBS have had to go to in the High Court in London to try and retrieve their loan, now classified as toxic, should make it clear beyond any doubt that it would not be in the interests of your bank to loan to Mr Hicks.

 

So, if this has landed in the inbox of anyone relevant, please just tell Hicks that you're not interested.

Only problem with that list is that most of the Corporate Banking email links were already inactive. Perhaps deliberately so.

Still what else is there to do now but spam the whole f***ing bank and hope something sticks.

May well be because you need to semi colon / comma s*** up on some email programmes. I've only had one bounceback from the list laid out as follows. Feel free to c&p

That's what i'm worried about. Everyone thinks it's done. This is the one way left that they can retain control. Of course they're going to try it, and using Australian/Asian banks they could well still.

I can't start a separete thread on RAWK, being a lurker and all. I figured trying to hijack a thread would be better than nothing. But it needs it's own thread. Hopefully someone will pick up on it before I'm banned for spamming.

Excellent, the more attention drawn to this the better. Need to hit them hard now, so they have a lovely surprise waiting for them when the arrive for work in their flip flops and Bermuda shorts in a couple of hours.
