Swipe Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Ferguson wins LMA manager of the year. The LMA must be so relieved a Brit win the title again. Must have been embarrassing having to ignore an Italian double-winner and give it to The Owl last year.

Must have been embarrassing having to ignore an Italian double-winner and give it to The Owl last year. Is that where Redknapp was heading earlier ? Had SSN on with the sound down and the clown was whoring himself to anyone who'd listen again. Must've been on there for 10 minutes.
Montse Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 With Hodgson we would have been involved in survival sunday
épieur Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Just heard the bellend talking about Ancelloti and how managers of Chelsea, Liverpool etc get judged on results not on performances. Good point Roy, you;d have been a success if we judged you on the Barcaesque football you had us playing Roy would have bought himself a lot more time if the performances had been better, even if the results weren't. Part of the reason I had no faith in him at all was the fact that we didn't just lose games, we lost them looking utterly second-rate and always inferior to the teams beating us. There were simply no signs of even mild improvement or anything that suggested that here might be something to build on, even if it isn't working out now. Imo, that is what bought Benitez patience and time in his first season (also, not being a cockhead and having a decent cv helped). We were faltering in the league and pointwise he was certainly no improvement on Houllier that year. But you could see what he was trying to do, he was implementing a lot of new ideas that looked very promising and that was something worth giving time. So shut your f***ing trap, roy.
dorgie Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 In the Coaching Badge's Training Course, when they're trying to demonstrate to prospective coaches a team that isn't playing for their manager or isn't playing to a clear plan, they should look no further than the first half of our season 2010/11 for an abundance of examples.
smithdown Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Even when we won we looked lousy. That famous victory in Turkey with the two crazy extra time goals was a shocker. I've never been amongst Liverpool supporters who were glad that a goal of ours was disallowed like the late equaliser against Wolves.

My emotions after Joe Cole's winner at home to Bolton were all over the place.
lfc003 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) *Roy Hodgson's West Brom have picked up exactly the same number of points (20) as Liverpool from their last 12 games of the season* I know he's the devil incarnated to us all and should never have ever been our manager but i can't be bothered with hating him anymore. He's found his level and done a impressive job with WBA and we now have Kenny back and can look forward to a bright future so maybe we should move on now. Edited May 24, 2011 by lfc003
CarraLegend Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 We have moved on, we can still abuse the vile, old man though. He's one of the biggest scumbags ever connected with this club and should be remembered as so.
smithdown Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 millions of pounds he had off us millions Tw*t that

I'm only concerned by his s**** record with us compared to Kenny'sHis poor management means that there is no European football next season
