Need to buy a new TV and hifi system

Where's the best place to buy electronics from?

 

Any recommendations on TVs? I want 40" plus preferably, and not 3D.

 

As far as BluRays go Sony have a few good ones at decent prices.

 

HiFi systems and speakers... any recommendations?

 

I imagine I'll buy most of the furniture from IKEA, but I hate their sofas... where's good to go for them?
