charlie clown Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 to want Everton to win the derby or is that a step too far?
Red Kent Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 to want Everton to win the derby or is that a step too far? Surprised you had to ask, even more surprised you felt the need to share it.
Leo No.8 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Its several steps too far IMO. Sure you won't be alone though.
Kahnee Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Too far. Understand the thinking, but no. In an ideal world, we win on Sunday and then sack him Monday, just to make the point
Stupid Sexy Flanders Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Would you not rather we won (thus starting a chain of wins one assumes) regardless who the manager is?
Macedonian_Red Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 to want Everton to win the derby or is that a step too far? If that defeat guarantees that Hodgson will be sacked and Kenny will be appointed as LFC manager, I could leave with that ...
smithdown Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 How many do you want them to win by? Loads, or a last minute winner? Poor thread.
JonShar Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 If that defeat guarantees that Hodgson will be sacked and Kenny will be appointed as LFC manager, I could leave with that ... If that's really how you feel then you're right, you should leave with that.
Frosty Jack Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 The effect Kennys appointment even as caretaker, together with new owners would have on crowd & team. You would hope they see this. There'd be such a buzz, a feeling of momentum. I just hope they don't leave it too late. Derby is almost certainly too soon unless Roy walks.
Falconhoof Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I just want him gone, really wish someone would have the balls to sack him and move the club forward. I'd never want Everton to beat us, its a sick thought.
floyd Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 We win the game, new owners f*** Hodgson off in the after match press confrenece, so he can f*** off down south and manage Leyton Orient, and LFC announce Kenny coming back with Pako Ayestarán as his assistant.
Damian_de Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 3-0 down at HT, Kenny takes over, storm back to win it 4-3?
Macedonian_Red Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 We win the game, new owners f*** Hodgson off in the after match press confrenece Sadly, I think that a win against Everton will buy Hodgson time at the LFC managers' post until the end of the season ... This is one of those ''make-or-break'' moments, and that is the only reason why I would accept a defeat against the bitters ...
Barnesy_10 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 white hankies at the ground would be a great visual statement... not at Goodison though, but at Anfield for the next time we get humiliated..
Epic Swindle Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I'm sure all the lads at the ground will be desperate for us to be torn apart.
MFletcher Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 A step too far indeed. It's going to happen though. It's quite galling to 'know' you're going to get hammered a week in advance of a game, but unless he resigns then he's going to be in charge and we're going to be pummelled. I expect it will be the straw that breaks the camel's back and he'll be gone before the subsequent game.

boohog Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 3-0 down at HT, Kenny takes over, storm back to win it 4-3? Half time firing would be quality.
Flanders Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 How sad that some fans are going to be annoyed if we win. If something clicks and we put a run together, some are going to be distraught.
davewigan Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Half time firing would be quality. On a Stag Do Last weekend and one of the lads was a blackpool fan, he asked me what I would do at half time to which i replied, announce over the tannoy that Woy had been sacked and Carra had been put in charge as caretaker for the rest of the match.
Cobs Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 nice try, Charlie but Woodsyla is still way out in front of 'Schittiest Idea of The Year' competition

I'd be bloody delighted no matter what Liverpool to win. I was in the ground for the blackburn game and can honestly say that i wanted us to win. its just the how low our expectations are now... any other season I would look at the table and see us 8points / 3 wins off 2nd and would still be expecting that. Instead im getting abused by Blackpool fans.
