johngibo YPC Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 All supporters concerned by the ownership situation are asked to buy their tickets for the Napoli home game in block MC of the Main Stand for an in game protest. If that area is sold out - aim for blocks MB and MD. Tickets on sale Wednesday Spread the word via text, email, facebook and by speaking to everyone you know to make them aware. See you in the Main Stand. YANKS OUT
Bailo Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I'm technically boycotting at the moment, but I'm fully behind an in-game protest, will try and get in on this.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Genuine question - would it not be better to do it in the other stand so that it will be picked up constantly by the TV camaras ?
Chili Palmer Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Genuine question - would it not be better to do it in the other stand so that it will be picked up constantly by the TV camaras ? Are the blocks they are targeting not around the directors box?
johngibo YPC Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 Are the blocks they are targeting not around the directors box? This
Rory Fitzgerald Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I did think it was situated in the Main Stand to be closer to the Directors but wanted the logic confirmed.
Frosty Jack Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Ominous. I hope this isn't based on new info. Good idea.
Molby Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 this is more like it we need to get close to the directors boxalso the main stand is more flammable than the centenary
Dan Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Great idea. I wonder whether Purslow et al will get wind of it and swerve the game though?
johngibo YPC Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 also the main stand is more flammable than the centenary This game isn't until November. What's changed?? What do you mean?
Frosty Jack Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 This game isn't until November. What's changed?? thats what we should be worried about
Des Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 What do you mean? Well, why are the organisers of this so certain there will still be a need to protest come next month?
johngibo YPC Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 Well, why are the organisers of this so certain there will still be a need to protest come next month? I suppose they don't. But there might be. I suspect, with no apparant buyers for the club, there will be. But if we end up with new owners then we can all just say hiya
Redwire Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 The Paddock below the Director's box is also a very good option. The targets are all in the front row, dugout end.
johngibo YPC Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 thats what we should be worried about Well noone is suggesting this is the only thing we do though. Its just another idea to get on board with if you think it might be worthwileI'm sure everyone agrees that other things before then need to be planned
Des Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I suppose they don't. But there might be. I suspect, with no apparant buyers for the club, there will be. But if we end up with new owners then we can all just say hiya We should at the very least be in the hands of RBS by then, if they have the balls to tell H&G to do one come the deadline.
Frosty Jack Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Well noone is suggesting this is the only thing we do though. Its just another idea to get on board with if you think it might be worthwileI'm sure everyone agrees that other things before then need to be planned absolutely, i think it's a great idea i'm just worried about what news might've triggered it.as you say it should be organized anyway, even if its just to say hiya
Swan Red Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 this is more like it we need to get close to the directors boxalso the main stand is more flammable than the centenary lol it's not Goodison I suppose they don't. But there might be. I suspect, with no apparant buyers for the club, there will be. Its just another idea to get on board with if you think it might be worthwileI'm sure everyone agrees that other things before then need to be plannedas tickets go on sale tomorrow this is the right time to mobilise a protest for that game.
Cam Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I like this. I also like the idea of rushing the box and taking control of the stand as a whole. I like imagining some Hicks lackey saying to him, as he cowers in some office supplies cupboard deep into the Main Stand, "Sir, they've taken the media room... they're just 2 doors way from us now."
dorgie Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 This game isn't until November. What's changed?? I would imagine what's driving it is the fact that they're the next set of tickets to go on sale and this is the next opportunity to do somthing like this.
Jarg Armani Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 More details here for those who are getting on the phones tomorrow: "The directors' box is in MC. The back of MC has gone to general sale for every cup game since we were relegated from the Champions League. The front of MB is next to the directors' box and the press box. So go for the front 15 or so rows and the high seat numbers. It's supposed to be corporate, for the Legends Lounge, but we got seats in there for Steau Bucherest on general sale. The front of MD is on the other side of the steps to where Purslow normally sits and next to the directors' box entrance. Low seat numbers and lowest 15 or so rows. There is a security presence on this side for those who are interested in such things." Will we be near the main stand platoon off here? Will you lads join/geg in?
