A call came through at work for a property, and he asked me about renovating a property, so I go through everything he needs to go and what we could do for him, so I have to put him through to another department, so I asked him where it was and he said "BL2 0XX" and I said whats your name "Kevin Davies" Me "Oh, like Bolton's captain" "Yeah" "Bet you get that all the time?" "Well.............Yeah I do" "Cos you're Big Kev arent you?" "Yep"

 

So what do I say?

 

"Will you be our back up for Torres?"

 

"3 years ago I would have jumped at the chance, but I am 32 now and couldnt compete at their level"

 

"You would do a great job"

 

"cheers mate, its always appreciated"

I know, his team is flying compared to us!!!

 

I was so happy. I should have kept his number.......sadly, I think is what they call "a breach of data protection"

Can you imagine how much Knox would have paid for that?

 

I reckon if we got Pulis in charge with Big Kev up front, Knox might die of happiness.
