Maldini Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Roy's position is untenable now, get rid of him and get Kenny in until the end of the season. If we don't dump Roy ASAP we're in with a real chance of relegation.
Superjay Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Roy will not be sacked. Purslow's ego is way too big to admit that he was vey wrong on this appointment. The only way this could work out id if roy falls on his sword but he will tell us now that we were the better side and was not expecting much out of the game.
Ethan Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Kenny is our only hope now to avoid relegation - its as simple as that
Earl Hafler Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Have to get him in now. Hodgson will not get any better and would ruin us even more given transfer decisions in January
Jim D Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 It's the only logical decision, I want him out now, never in my life have I wanted a manager out this early and thats going back all the way to when Souness was manager.
smithdown Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Kenny looked appalled in the first half. He'll be hurting as much as we are. The arl cockney fella will be chatting to his mates about how much progress we are making and they'll be showing him the respect one of the best managers in europe deserves.
richwilks Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 He has to go, he will relegate us. Bring in Dalglish and Thompson. We're in serious trouble under this guy and I've no doubt that Torres and Reina won't stay beyond January if he is still here.
Stevie H Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 roy is actually taking us backwards on the pitch. it's so regressive it's almost laughable. he's genuinely trying to impose a lower midtable style of play and tactics on a number of players who are actually quite good.
Sion Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I've never even contemplating not supporting a Liverpool manager before, let alone having any harsh feelings towards one.Until Mr Hodgson came in that was. He's a gamechanger. I feel like a geordie but I don't care.
CarraLegend Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 He can take us down, there is no doubt about this, this man can relegate us. We're way way way to negative to pick up enough points against s**** to survive. Purslow wont get rid though because he'll have to admit his mistake to do that.
madaboutlfc Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I would put a f***ing pumpkin with a hat on and even that will do better than this motherf***ing useless old fart..

And he's admitted it and doesn't think it's a problem.
pipnasty Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 The arl cockney fella will be chatting to his mates about how much progress we are making and they'll be showing him the respect one of the best managers in europe deserves. I take solace from the fact that Steve Bruce, Allardyce and Warnock now like us. It's important stuff this.
stressederic Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'd like to offer my services as the next manager of Liverpool Football Club.

goodrobotusses Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I've never even contemplating not supporting a Liverpool manager before, let alone having any harsh feelings towards one.Until Mr Hodgson came in that was. He's a gamechanger. I feel like a geordie but I don't care. Exactly how I feel. I didn't support Rafa's sacking, and thought Roy was the wrong choice to replace him, but never felt I wouldn't do my duty as a supporter and actually support the manager. But I really can't support this guy - he just doesn't get it at all. Nice bloke though he is, he's about as far away from being a Liverpool manager as I can imagine. In terms of Maldini's initial post - I'm supportive of that. Don't like the idea of Kenny in that snakepit, and don't think he could be a long-term bet. But in the interim, at least ALL supporters would be united behind him because he is universally adored by fans. Even if we continued to struggle throughout the season, I think there would be a lot more unity behind Kenny because he is Kenny. Roy has no ties to or understanding of this club, and it shows. That said, I wouldn't want Thommo - love the guy, but I'm worried he'd be a divisive figure in the dressing room.
floyd Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Hodgson will not be sacked this week. But when the blueshyte beat us next game, and send us bottom. He will be out the fvckin door, that he should never of entered. Edited October 3, 2010 by floyd
Maldini Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 I don't see the problem with Sammy staying as number 2
Sion Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hodgson will not be sacked this week. But when the blueshyte beat us next game, and send us bottom. He will be out the fvckin door, that he should never of entered. He won't. He's not getting sacked any time soon regardless of the results. We better get used to it. If only Benetez had left him better players than the current relegation fodder he has to deal with.

fyds Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'd like to offer my services as the next manager of Liverpool No, I'm the next manager of Liverpool Football Club.
Barnesy_10 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I fear he won't get sacked or walk until at least after Christmas... gives us another few months of humiliation to sit through
RazorUK Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I fear he won't get sacked or walk until at least after Christmas... gives us another few months of humiliation to sit through The damage will be too great by Christmas. He needs to go and he needs to go now.
nb Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I hate Hodgson so much now that even the thought of a Liverpool win does not fill me with joy. Can't stand the thought of Roy speaking about how his methods have paid off and how he proved everybody wrong.
