My FiL has bought from Amazon the Dirty Harry collection on BluRay and sent it to me. It's cheaper in the UK than the US where he lives. I will keep it for him until he comes over to collect

 

Your first thought - and mine - is likely along the lines of "did he buy PAL or NSTC?". There's no markings on the box - other than released by Warner UK.

 

Simple thing would, of course, be to whack the disk in my player and see if it loads. It won't but that's as I don't have BluRay. So, how can I tell if it's NSTC or PAL?
