Stevie H Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 ridiculous that arsenal are shorter than inter.
blago Posted August 27, 2010 Author Posted August 27, 2010 it's because they've been drawn with Spurs
Sion Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I fancy Real Madrid. Barca are mentally short. Surely you'd get better value betting on them to win each individual game? Inter probably that high because teams don't win 2 in a row anymore
Nebraska Red Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I really couldn't give a toss about this competition now, it'll be the usual suspects in the knockout phase as the better teams will spawn their way through with assistance form UEFA and their pet referees. As long as no English team wins it, I'll be happy ignoring most of the games. Even Barcelona will be hard to watch given they have Judas in their team now.
Hassony Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Even Barcelona will be hard to watch given they have Judas in their team now. still prefer them to Real and the c*** in charge there
Sion Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 If Spurs reach the last 8. I might just give up on football.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I fancy Real Madrid. Barca are mentally short. Surely you'd get better value betting on them to win each individual game? Inter probably that high because teams don't win 2 in a row anymorejust because no-one's retained it for years doesn't mean it's less likely this season. Matty will love this, I'm supporting Inter in this season's compy

Hightown Phil Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I fancy Real Madrid. Barca are mentally short. Surely you'd get better value betting on them to win each individual game? Inter probably that high because teams don't win 2 in a row anymore They could win the competition, in theory, without scoring a goal.
Sion Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 They could win the competition, in theory, without scoring a goal. Well obviously, but i don't understand how they can be so low.Barca are in the final, at lowest they'll probably be around evens won't they? Can't imagine a team getting to the final that would mean Barca were lower odds than around 1.9 to 2.1 to win the trophyNor will they likely be any less than say 1.4-1.5 to qualify from the semis So in effect by putting money on them now are you not just putting money at terrible odds on them to reach the semis?
Hightown Phil Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Barca were 8/11 before the semi finals last season. I was talking in terms of Inter.
Andy Mac Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I fancy Real Madrid. Crazy, crazy price 5/1.. I've laid RM and still have a fair few quid waiting on Betfair to lay them for some more.
_00_deathscar Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 For that price I fancy Inter to make it two in a row. Otherwise I'd be going with Barca. Don't think Mourinho will make it two consecutive European Cups.
surf Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 (edited) They could win the competition, in theory, without scoring a goal. cant see them getting past the group stages without scoring a goal unless every game in the group is 0-0actually, there could be two games between 2 teams in there with goals, as long as one of those teams ended with 1 point or less from those 2 games Edited August 28, 2010 by surf

Cos in practice it's pretty much impossible.
Stevie H Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 will signing mascherano cause barca's odds to shorten? 'cos they've just made themselves harder to score against.
doug_mac Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 i backed inter at 11/1 last season and if they are 16/1 i will be backing them again that price is absurd they should be priced no more than 8/1
DJS Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 16/1 on Inter is ridiculously high. Rafa knows what he's doing in the CL and the 'not winning it twice in a row' thing is just coincidental, there's obviously no 'rule' that it cant happen
Maldini Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 They've managed to keep pretty much the whole squad together as well. It's an insane price.
matty Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Matty will love this, I'm supporting Inter in this season's compy Team Matty? We don't need the arriviste supporter.
Boca Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Spurs - MilanChelsea - CopenhagenMancs - MarseilleInter - Bayern
