Genuine apology and I've made the accusation more than once so gets it's own thread so he sees it.

I've accused you multiple times of saying Mourinho would win the Prem with our squad.

I apologise; it was actually Wayne.

I was SO f***ing sure it was you.

Anyways, I owe you a beer. Or something. No sex acts, though.

i think our team and squad as it stands is capable of winning the league

I think Mourinho would win the thing with the squad we have if i'm honest

Our squad

Our squad

And me.

I stand by it. Y'see... Mourinho and Rafa are different people, different managers, different styles. I think Mourinho would fuse them together and enable them to become the team WE thought they'd be during last summer.

Maybe not the squad we will have come 1 September but the one we finished last season with.

so do I, for the exact reasons you mentioned, although why Flight feels the need to start a new thread about it i dont know

He'd have them believing they were giants. Imagine Gerrard having the belief of Lampard and the balls of Terry.*

He gets like that every now and then but he's usually too hung up on tactics and brow-beaten by expectation.

Mourinho may be many negative things but this team had become soft, easy, demotivated and mentally lost. His great skill as a man-manager would wash these issues away. Yes, there's other great man-managers out there who could do the same but Mourinho is the obvious pick.

People rubbish him 'cos of Chelsea, his arrogance, the direct football, the anbulance service comments (which were too far), his wage demands and G&H. No, he wouldn't have come here this summer. That's not the point.

* not in a sex way.

this is the perfect thread i think to bring up this little ditty

Footballs coming home

It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming home..

Rafa's coming home, he's coming home, he's coming home ...

Hodge seems to know the score

Mike has seen it all before

They just know

They're so sure

That Rafa was gonna

Throw it away

Gonna blow it away

But I knew we were on our way

Cos' I remember

Three semis in 5 years

Ancelotti still fuming

21 years of hurt

Never stopped me dreaming

So many Mancs, and Blues**** jeers

All those oh so nears

Wear you down

Through the years

But I still see that

First goal by Nando

And when Xabi scored

From behind the halfway line

And Stevie dancing

Three CL semis in 5 years

Three goals in 20 minutes

Even Riises f***ing OG

Never stopped me dreaming

I know that was then

But it could be again

It's coming home

It's coming home

It's coming

Rafa's coming home

(x4)

Hiii thank yo!

what the f*** is that song. christ almighty wayne, where did you get that ?

thats Flights song. he wrote it, and seemed very proud of it, the massive f***ing bell

And how has Flight edited Wayne's post? And had Wayne had a brain melt? Lots of questions here.

he didnt. i just copied and pasted it. the fact that he edited it would make me wonder how bad it was before the edit

its painful reading Flight, I think you owe the forum an apology for that sequence of words. I'm not even referring to it as a song.

Yeah, you're right; it was supposed to be a bit of light hearted satire, though, not to be taken seriously.

Not a chance this squad could win the league.

Even before we lost Mascherano there was no chance of that happening under any manager.
