Alonso never, ever, got the praise he did from non-Reds until he left.

 

I don't think people remember how good Babbel was until his injury.

This thread reminds me of Ronnie Whelan. Oh how I hate Ronnie f***ing Whelan.

Reckon if he'd have started the 95 cup final we'd have won it

He was brilliant against the mancs when we beat them at home that season

I'm sure he played home and away in the league against them that year and we took 4 points

I never liked a centre midfield of Barnes and Redknapp. I bet Roy Keane enjoyed it though
