To be fair to him he comes across as enthusiastic enough. I'd like to roll out the cliches about his potential and how he might improve under a different manager, but I'm kind of past that with him now....

There was talk that they disagreed about a signing alright but the story going around at the time was Pako was talking to other clubs about a move and never told Rafa. That and the fact he was too matey with Mourinho.

Agree - it reads more like a question about where he is playing than his ability.

 

I haven't seen anything of the game, so I don't know if him asking the question is a more worrying indication of Babel's lack of understanding of tactical roles and responsibilities - albeit not exactly unprecedented in his own performances
