Moving back to England

Finally got a job, running one of Carragher's restaurants in Liverpool, which is pretty ace.

 

There are a few details that I'm not sure about, so I thought I'd check in with the wealth of knowledge on here first:

 

• Is it worthwhile to ship electronics over there, or should I replace them when I get there?
  
• Do I have to pay customs on the things I send over? Primarily reffering to a computer, turntable, HD monitor, etc.
  
• Best bank to open accounts with?
  
• I want to buy an older car just to last me a couple of years. No more than 5k. Best choices?
  

 

I think that's it for now... although if anyone has any suggestions, or things I need to do/take care of, I would most appreciate it. This is all happening in 3 weeks, so I'm a bit flustered and sure I'm missing some things!
