Boring, but wondered if anyone else was having problems with Orange this year?

I went back to them after 3 years, nothing but problems.

 

Find that is always the case when you first go to a new network, especially with roaming, credit limit, data etc, certain things seem to take time to bed in. However the problems I had were exacerbated by lack of customer support, which I actually found to be the best around in the past. Earlier in the year one of the CS people basically admitted the company was in a shambles at the moment and was being reorganized across the board.

 

A couple of times they blocked me without warning or explanation, to the point where I couldn't even call them to ask why, really s*** when it happens abroad, you're just f***ed. Now, again without warning, they've just decided because I don't have an "iPhone bundle" I can't use data on my Orange iPhone.

 

They really made me jump through hoops to get my PAC code, put on hold a dozen times, told the system was down, all kind of excuses in email (where they only seem to read the first line anyway). Finally got it after one last angry email where they eventually called me back. However now they won't give PAC codes by phone or Text, was never the case in the past, is this just squeezing a couple more days use out of the phones or what?

 

Going to try another leap of faith with 3, where at least the roaming is cheaper in europe and I never had a problem getting through to their call centres if there was a problem, Orange is way more expensive, and in the past you were paying for the support, it just doesn't seem to be there anymore. 9 out of 10 calls you don't get past florence and the f***ing machine.
