Cisse Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) If we for a minute assume we can at least re-invest generated sales, stop whining about Roy and Yanks for a moment, this is my Fantasy football time.Slaughter me....but you know what, I think we could be challenging... Gomez Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Just because Cole is on a Bosman, does not mean he will cost £0 Unless you are talking about Andy that is.
Gerry Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Stop this. You cannot swap seven players for another seven players and expect the fees to match up like that. Take into account paying off contracts, signing on fees and agent fees, and we're certainly not talking about a zero budget. And I'd despair if we paid £22M on Milner...
stressederic Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 How many mushrooms did you work your way through?
Cisse Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Silva £1m? otherwise I agree with your post 100% Thx, Gilberto that is..back to the mushrooms
Rory Fitzgerald Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) I've been on internet fora for too long to seriously respond to posts like that. It happens in Fantasy Football, Championship Manager, Real Madrid .... but not in real football. We are in for one of the roughest Summers yet and next Summer will be worse if the Yanks are still here. That debt needs to be paid down and as long as the Yanks are here, only player sales can service that. Edited June 30, 2010 by Rory Fitzgerald
Billy Dane Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Roy Hodgson targets Gilberto Silva, Brede Hangeland, Rafael van der Vaart and Danny Murphy with Liverpool spending spree Daily Nazi bullship link
KIDORIGINAL Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I'm going to have fleeting images of Samuel Eto'o in a Liverpool shirt again, I uust know it. Oh to be back in 2007 where it seemed that the world was our oyster.
Flanders Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Starting XI:Glen-Agger-Brede-Figueroa---Stevie--Milner----Kuyt----Aguero---Cole------Torres------------ Your most defensie midfielder is Dirk Kuyt!
Benzo-13 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 If Danny Murphy comes back I'll kill myself.Imagine the speed of the Silva/Murphy axis? With the Greek and Carra at the back. We'd have to watch games on fast forward.
stressederic Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Imagine the speed of the Silva/Murphy axis? With the Greek and Carra at the back. We'd have to watch games on fast forward. To get it over with as quickly as possible?
Benzo-13 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 To get it over with as quickly as possible? No, just to get them to normal speed!
Hightown Phil Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Imagine the speed of the Silva/Murphy axis? With the Greek and Carra at the back. We'd have to watch games on fast forward. Danny Murphy would honestly push me over the edge. I live about 500m from the sea. If he comes, there'll be a body there.
Hassony Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Danny Murphy would honestly push me over the edge. I live about 500m from the sea. If he comes, there'll be a body there. I too would hate to see Murphy back at liverpool
Benzo-13 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Danny Murphy would honestly push me over the edge. I live about 500m from the sea. If he comes, there'll be a body there.Yep, it'd be Reggie Perrin time.
Sion Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 If Danny Murphy comes back I'll kill myself. you can stand at the bottom of the cliff i'll be throwing myself off if it happens
Cheesecake Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) look likes we can forget 'money from sales' according to this link and instead spend only 'profit on players sold' Greedy Yank b******s Part 1 Here's part 2 - a fine example of Mr Scum at work Greedy self serving liar How much 'profit' did we make in January? No doubt the same will apply to players sold this summer Edited June 30, 2010 by DPD1973
Rory Fitzgerald Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Dont have time to read either pal, but from the speculation, we pay Rafa 6mln to leave and pay Fulham 3mln to get Roy. I get the feeling that net spend this Summer will be - 9mln
meepins Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Danny Murphy would honestly push me over the edge. I live about 500m from the sea. If he comes, there'll be a body there. Please let the body be Christian Purslow's.
New York Red Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I'd love to play. I really would. But it's too depressing to speculate because it is clearly not going to happen Roll on a real boycott. Grow some balls fans.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 are you lot mental? Before this whole farce started, I expected our summer spending to be 0. don't ever believe anything good - even normal - will happen with these c**** in charge. It's almost like they're bizillionaires who support the mancs & are just pissing their cash away to f*** us. It's the only logical reason that they're systematically ruining the club
