You cannot swap seven players for another seven players and expect the fees to match up like that. Take into account paying off contracts, signing on fees and agent fees, and we're certainly not talking about a zero budget.

I've been on internet fora for too long to seriously respond to posts like that.

 

It happens in Fantasy Football, Championship Manager, Real Madrid .... but not in real football.

 

We are in for one of the roughest Summers yet and next Summer will be worse if the Yanks are still here. That debt needs to be paid down and as long as the Yanks are here, only player sales can service that.
